Booking
You can book via our website, phone, or approved platforms. Your booking is confirmed after receiving a confirmation email or payment.
Payment
A valid credit card will be requested from the occupant of the room when checking in. For travellers without a credit card, photo ID will be requested and full cash payment of accommodation plus a bond for incidental charges will be required at check-in. Bonds vary by hotel and length of stay.
We charge a transaction fee for credit card payments reflecting bank charges it incurs. Surcharges are applied to credit cards: Visa and MasterCard 2.5%, American Express 3%. Cash or EFTPOS payments do not incur transaction fees. Guests may elect to change the method of payment to Cash or EFTPOS to avoid these fees.
Cancellation
For free cancellation at least 48 hours' notice must be given.
Cancellation within 48 hours of arrival are only entitled to a 15%-20% refund regardless of how far out the check-in date is.
When booking more than 4 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in: from 2:00PM to 8PM | Check-out: by 10:00AM
Early check-in or late check-out may incur extra charges.
Please note if you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform City Central Motel Apartments in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.
Smoking
Smoking in our motel units is prohibited. All units are smoke-free. If you wish to smoke ash trays are provided on the balcony and outside rooms on the ground floor. If we find on your departure that you have been smoking in the unit and specialist cleaning is required, the full cost will be charged to you.
Pets
Pets are not permitted.
Guest Responsibilities
Please follow our rules, including noise and smoking. Guests are responsible for any damage to rooms or property.
Motel Responsibilities
We provide a safe and clean stay. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items, except as required by law.
Facilities
Some facilities may have rules or extra charges. Temporary closures may occur for maintenance.
Privacy
Your information is kept secure and used for booking and communication only. We don't share your data without consent unless required by law.
Legal
These terms are governed by New Zealand law. We may update these terms at any time.
